im trying to find out what year and model it came off.
i know its a kawasaki 1000
engine code no. KZT00JE026827

the engine is on a legend dwarf race car that and buddy and i got. were trying to get it runnin. the person we got it off of doesnt know anything about it as he got it as payment for doing some side work for some people 3 years ago.

can anyone help with this info?

The engine came from an 82 KZ 1000 Standard. They called them J models from 81 to 83.

no thanx. there is a local bike salvage yard close by that has a ton of kawi 1000's parts cheap. so that will save me on shipping and waiting.

i see ur located in iowa. i trully dont think he ships parts. pretty much just stop and pull off what u need. but u can call him and ask. if he doesnt answer leave a message and he will call u back within a day. always did for me.
im not sure when the next time ill be out that way,because i dont need any thing but ill ask him when i do go tho. he is about 45 mins away from me, not truly local but the closest place to get old parts.
