FJ1100/ FJ1200 Petcock interchangeability

They have different part numbers... so I'm not certain...
Does anyone know if I can use an FJ1200 petcock on an FJ1100?
The FJ's is a bit leaky and I've already stretched the spring, so I may be looking for a new one (again)... looking to see how many options I have.

Hi Wildkat,
rather than spend the childrens' lunch money on a new gas tap ($109? is it gold plated or what?) I betcha if the tap has any resemblance to the XS-bikes taps replacing that 4-hole rubber thing & polishing the seal face should fix it.

I honestly don't remember the set up on it... but I'll check it out when (if) things slow down a bit and see what I can do...

Yeah... I know the new one is available... but it's a little (lot) more than I want to spend at the moment... Of course, it would probably be less expensive in the long run to get the new one now rather than keep purchasing rebuild kits and defunct used petcocks...
