  • Charging problems Honda Spirit

If I rev the bike up to 2500 rpm and the voltage drops as the RPM goes up does this tell me anything? Starting voltage is 13.89 with bike idleing and goes down with increase in rpm. (Not trying to hyjack post but thought might be more useful info. Friends 2000 Honda Shadow Spirit if it makes any difference)

      Hey Kevin,

Also, although we don't mind discussions about other bikes, it is preferred that they go in the OTHER BIKE forum!

Many members have experience and knowledge about other machines besides our beloved XS11's, and are more than willing to share that info with you.

I don't know the design of the Honda Shadow Spirit's charging system, brush or brushless ALT, could be as simple as that, but could also be REG/RECT!?
