What would the top speed of one of those be?

Top speed not much, about 80 if doing well, opened out for racing they go pretty fast, Vincent black shadow 1000cc are the fast ones

Back when "doin the ton" was a real accomplishment. Now lots of bikes will do it in second.

Oh the good old days, weak brakes, weak engines, weak frames, poor tires.
