2600 miles for a free bike???

One of my coworkers knows I like '80s bikes and today mentioned that her son-in-law hadn't picked up her late husband's 1984 Honda Shadow 750 and I could have it if I wanted it. The catch? I live in Sterling, CO, the bike is in Erie, PA. 3400 miles on the clock sitting since he dumped it in 84 (trashed tach and turn signal, and of course some paint). Its been sitting in a barn since then.


That's about $400 for gas, + tires and misc things. Is it worth it?

Depends on whether or not you want a Shadow 750 for $400.

I think it's a pretty good deal, if all you said is all that's wrong with it, it's a very good deal.
