I am needing some info on the Yamaha V Star 650 and 1100 rear ends.
I received the V Star 650 swing arm from ebay the other day. From the preliminary measurements, the pivot-pivot width is approx. 3/8" wider than the XS1100. So, I believe this can be bolted into the XS1100 with no modification to the pivots.
The length from pivot to axle is more difficult to measure without the final drive.
1. Can anyone provide the Pivot-Axle measurement for the XVS650? the XVS1100?
2. Can the XVS1100 drive shaft and final drive be used in the XVS650 swing arm and mounts?
3. Can the XVS1100 rear wheel and disc brake be used in the XVS650?
