im now the proud owner of a 99 Yamaha Royal Star Venture. It has the tangs on the frame for a center stand, but Yamaha does not offer one to install. I was wondering what the dimensions were on an XS center stand to see if I can bolt one on, otherwise my other option is a damn chrome Rivco stand for 320 bux.

Pivot bolt diameter 14mm
Pivot length 33mm
Dimension between pivots 77mm
Pivot centre to footpad 263mm
Pivot centre to crosspiece centre 140mm.
Get the complete package, stand, two shoulder bolts & return spring. Note that even if it bolts on it will not necessarily work right as the XS11 stand is shaped to fit the XS11 and the exhausts, frame etc of a Yamaha Royal Star Venture may be different enough that the stand may hit on something before it's fully up or that it may work fine but be either too short or too long. WTF, see if you can find one at a bargain anyway, even if it won't fit the Royal Star it'll make a good addition to your swap pile.Fred Hill, S'toon
