    this is my go to work bike..the center of gravity on this bike is way to high, i like this bike over all it only has 8,000 miles on it but i layed it down 2 weeks ago and i i am having 2nd thought of selling it my xs 1100 midnight feels more stable at low speeds then the honda

      Not that I'm denigrating your riding skills, it's the weight differential between the two bikes.
      The Honda weighs perhaps half of what the XS11 does. The effective C of G is the combination of the bikes and your own.
      Your own C of G is a constant, as is the C of G of whatever bike you are riding but as the weight of the bike goes down the combined C of G moves up. It's not that the Honda is unstable, it's that you effectively weigh a lot more when you are riding it.
