1981 yamaha 100

I just bought a 1981 yamaha 100 for my daughter as a starter bike does anyone know anythign about these, what models for that year they made ect..I dont know a whole heck of a lot about these lil bikes other than the fact there good lil bikes to learn how to ride on I had one when i was a kid
like i know they made DT and IT Do they run reed's in these could this be a DT actully what is a DT ahhaa
are they good lil bikes must be if they run great and are 26 years old.

I just was wondering because im sure I be looking for parts

Do you have a pic, I learned on a little yami 100 when I was young also. Still have it in fact. Give me the details, I may or may not be able to help.

I used to work on them all the time back when I was a Yamaha mechanic but off the top of my head I can't think of and specific advise for you.
