Has anyone ever installed a oil cooler or remote filter on a 84' Virago XV1000. There is a way you can drill the right side cover and tap it for remote lines,I just dont know where to drill to get into the propper oil passages. Just thought someone might have some information about this, If so let me know what ideas you got!!

oil remote
I have seen that J&P cycle has a remote kit for the Yamaha xvs1100, This is the v-star 1100. It looks like it would bolt on and match up perfect,I checked and they both use the same oil filter,I dont like the price. Its over $200. I think with some reverse engineering I could come up with something cheaper.Dan ( A.K.A.- MacGyver )Comment
