  • Suzuki question

I was just given a 1981 Suzuki 850L in really pretty decent condition. One owner, 27000 miles, garaged for the last 10 years. And yes, it did run when he parked it.
My question is, does anyone know of any forums for Suzuki that are anywhere near as good as this one is for Yamaha?

I've done several searches and can't seem to find any info on this bike.

No answer for you on the forum thing...but that's a pretty decent bike. I had 81 750's ... two of them... an "E" and an "L". Both stood up to well over 100,000 miles of my abuse...but were pretty much unrepairable after that (broken frame on the "E" and exploded camshaft on the "L")

    In-line 4's just kick butt!

        Thanks Mac

Apperently I didn't know enough about the 850 to look up "GS"!

i bought an 82 GS850L in 84. it was a new leftover. rode it cross country several times. never let me down. i still have it. might just dig it out and put the sidecar back on.
