    2003 Fz1

    Hubba, Hubba!

Dealer in my area has this bike (my favorite color scheme) on sale for under $8200. Soooo tempting.

She sure looks sharp. Is it an inline four with four into one exhaust? Shaft or chain drive?

I like it as well, just don't go hanging bags and a trunk on it! That is what an XS is for. That would be like putting a ladder rack on a Corvette. Yamaha is bringing back that Kenny Roberts theme (yellow\black) on a lot of bikes.

WARNING THIS THREAD IS ABOUT TO BE HIJACKED!!!

If the on sale price of $8200 is too steep, you can get one of these for list price of $6999 or I have seen them 'on sale' for much less.

        Suzuki Bandit 1200.

        END OF THREAD HIJACK!

Stand Down! Im taking this thread back!!!

The only reason the bike is cheaper is because of the big "Suzuki" logo on the bike. LOL

Of course the same could be said for why this one is more expensive.

Things I like about the FZ1
            • Pegs are high
            • seating position is good
            • good stock horsepower

            Things I don't like about the FZ1
            • that stock horsepower doesn't kick in til after 6-7000rpm
            • it's just weird looking, that one-piece motor etc
            • it costs too much

BTW, neither the FZ1 or the B12 have good mirrors, you can only see your shoulders.

Mirrors? I usually only see the pavement in my mirrors!! Wayne I didn't know we were allowing action shots! Here is a Bandit in action:

And equal time for the FZ1:

Well Gary I have to hand it to you for being so non-partisan with your action shots. How politically correct of you.
                BTW nice wheelies!
