Help! I'm having trouble finding the diaphragm to rebuild the fuel petcock on this monster. Can find all the other parts, and the dia. for all other XS400 models, but not this one. Surely I can't be the only one to face this so would greatly appreciate any help.

I'm assuming that if this diaphragm is not working properly, the gas can flood throught the carbs and into the oil?

    Thanks,
    Terry

If you are having trouble finding a rebuild kit for this model take a look at partsnmore.com. They may have a rebuild kit for these and if not they should have manual (on/off) petcocks that you can use to replace yours. And to answer your question yes problem petcocks can cause your oil to become thinned out with gas and fry your engine. Best of luck to ya!
