  • Gotta free 83 Honda 550 Nighthawk

Now what do I do with it. I want to part it out. I have most of it stripped already, except for motor and the parts that make it roll. What my ? is does anyone know of a website like this one I can get some pointers from and offer to them first. As of now haven't had much luck.

The 83 550 was a one year bike, don't know if that makes it better ebay fodder or not. The bike was pretty clean but had Kentucky title problems. I have no clue what parts are worth for this bike. I wish the stock exhaust would fit my E, they look that nice. Any ideas. Anybody here need any pieces let me know.
There's always a way, figure it out.

no way to cut and splice (underneath frame) to retrofit to E?
I guess by the time you do any cutting or welding, and then rechrome, your probably not money ahead vs. buying a new exhaust system that fits.

Well, no idea what stuff is worth, but since it was free, you would still be way ahead just listing it in Ebay and see what happens. You could always make up any difference in the shipping fees like everyone else seems to do! "This brand new Gerber knife can be yours for the buy it now price of 99 cents!! (*Plus 19.95 shipping and handling)

I always start my Ebay bidding out at $1.99, This covers all of the Ebay fees which usually run me around $1.50 or so. Shipping prices are an Ebay money maker. When I post something, I charge a set amount. This eliminates alot of headache and running around. Also eliminates alot of time answering questions about shipping cost. Say I charge a set amount of $20.00 to ship an Exaust system, When I go to ship this item, I will go for the shipping cost closest to what I charge the buyer. ($19.50 to ship).
That's just me. I don't believe in rippin people off.
