    I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl !

Indeed! Was happy it didn't go through the roof. I actually made my bid a couple of hours ago when I was on the road. Had my boss do it for me as I was deep in the hills and had no access to a computer. Wasn't sure if I'd get home in time. Got here 8 mins before the auction ended.

Cant wait to get them here and on the bike!!!!

Those pipes with the Jardine slipons showed up over the weekend and they are pretty damn nice themselves. They shine like justice!!

I'll get pictures of everything tomorrow and will PM you with details.

Hey, you guys that have these pipes? Will I need to rejet? I'm running a bit rich, I believe, so I'm wondering if it's not to much of an increase to warrant new jets.

I only went up one size with my mods. 1179 cc big bore, Uni foam air filter, and spaghetti pipes. I have 78 E carbs, so stock mains are 137.5, so I have 140's. I am also at 500 ft elevation, also.

I'm only running 110's on the stock '80 carbs. Seems a bit rich, even after synching. Probably the idle mixture though. Still havent got it dialed in perfect.

I'll guess I'll just throw them on and see. If I need to rejet I'll likley get a K&N filter too, and go all out. Running a UNI myself.

It just occurred to me that since their both Jardines, the turnouts I have may fit on the spagetti pipes I'm getting. Wouldn't that be interesting. Hmmmm

.. cool, i'm glad they didnt go through the roof also. i hope customs dont give to much of a hassle.
as far as the jetting, i only had to go up one size on the main and one size on the idle jets also[140 and 45]. i have the old style carbs same as John but i still have the stock air box drilled with K&N filter and i live 15 ft above sea level
