not a bad price right now, i would not bid more than 250 bucks if the shipping is going to be $100. but then again this set is no longer in production, depends on how bad you want them. ..they do make MY bike look killer! and John's bike looks smokin hot with this set also

It figures, I just got a decent looking set (with Jardine slip-ons) on Ebay 2 days ago, then those come on. A pretty nice stock exhaust went for close to 700 the other day. Another for close to 400. I imagine I'll be bidding on them unless it goes crazy like those.

do they clear the centerstand and is the retention perfect?

I have the 'basketti' pipes on my E.
I still use the centerstand tho it does sit a bit lower now. The exhaust set is also wider, it runs outside the lower frame rails. You do lose a bit of cornering clearance.

Geez, I bought a set of these a few years back, cost $50.00 and about $20.00 shipping. One muffler (right side) had a ding on the back tip.

Close to stock sound, a bit louder than stock when you get on the throttle.

I have a set of headers in fair shape, the mufflers are cut off though. all 4 pipes are good, structurally. I will get by the storage room and get some pictures of them.

If I do happen to win the auction for these, I imagine the ones I just bought (with the Jardine Slipons) will be on the market again as well. I havent recieved them yet, so I'm not sure what kinda shape they're in, but the pics looked nice. I'm sure we could work out something, either way.

okay we'll see what happens and good luck on those, i guess no one is gonna post a new listing for headers as long as the pasta pipes are for bidding,
i think i'll leave this alone, i don't like the idea of the center stand sticking lower and the pipes losing ground clearance.

i would have gone $500.00 otd.

my pipes are pinched, this way i can keep the stockers for a while, even though they are startin to rust...

btw does anyone know how i can ad a quote from another reply?

As far as Ebay, there's been a veritable glut (a cornucopia, even ) of exhausts on there the last coupla weeks. I imagine it's run dry again. Not something you see a whole lot of, most times. Maybe 1 or 2 a month, if even that.

i think i'll leave this alone, i don't like the idea of the center stand sticking lower and the pipes losing ground clearance.

.. yeah, i dont like how low the center stand hangs down under the jardine 4 into 2's either, thats why i took the center stand off. i still use it, but it sits on the shelf until i need it.. shaves a little weight off the bike also
