See rule #2, newbies always buy the beer. Gurus are to be feared and respected by all those under them, there biding is our command. We are humbled by there presence and must ride 2 bike lengths behind at all times. They get the parking spot closest to the door of the I-Hop. They always get the gas pump that is in the shade. Thou shalt not drink before the Guru does.
    When a 10 isn't enough, get a 11. 80g Hardbagger

Now there's someone who shows the proper respect. I like that shady gas pump rule almost as much as the beer...

Funny you mention free beer at rallys but you gotta go TO the rally to get the beer...

Got some coming up - did you sign up?

I guess my numbers should go backward now that I am no longer Xsive.

                Re: Guru's rule #2 Addendum

Guru's are the torch bearers of this forum they light up the dark for us underlings. They show us the way????

Rule #2 should be amended to include the entitlement of 13 virgins in the afterlife, and a free tube of RTV. I submit this amendment for group consideration.

                  Marty,

XSive is a state of mind. You of all people should know that!

                  Gene,

I object to 13 virgins in the afterlife. I want them NOW!

                      Who wants virgins?

It takes too long to train them all. I would rather not waste all tha time. Hell, SWMBO 2.0 is all I can handle.

OK Webbcraft, I'll be expecting unlimited Shiner Bock when I show up in Austin. I suppose in up in PA I'd have to settle for Yuengling...

I succumb to your request oh great Guru. However. budget constraints may reduce your request to MGD, or even Lonestar. My kingdom is but a humble one, torn by the daily strife we call work. My fortune is in tatters, torn from me by those we call wife and teenage girl kids. I am but a humble peasant whos only pleasure is derived from my XS. A valiant steed, with a heart of steel, ready to spring forth at my slightest command, to slay lesser machines and those that may think of her as lesser. For in that saddle, I am the Guru, I am the supreme commander. I control the herd of wild horses that rumble between my legs....

                              Geez, I gotta stop
