  • Anyone interested in some pods?

I thought I would post here before ebay. A while back I made the switch to 57mm Uni pods mounted on modified stock airbox boots. They worked great as far as performance, but afterward I started mentally planning my future FI conversion and decided that I needed the space behind the carbs to put my auxillary tank that will house the gsxr fuel pump. So I got ahold of some shorter chrome ended uni pods to go right on the carbs. I only used them for a couple months. Having switched from one setup to another, my opinion is that having the stock boots between the filter and carb make a noticable difference (good) in performance. I can say for a fact that they are indeed fuel resistant. They could probably use a wash and re-oil but still like new.

If anyone is interested I could let them go for say $30 with shipping.

Here are some pics of the project and filters.

Yes. I went from 110-120 mains. That seemed to do it. TC said that his was plenty w/ 117.5's. So, I went up 4 sizes. I also have 4-1 exhaust.
