  • XSive work horse

Well here it is boys and girls. This is something you don't see every day. I needed to move a pick up into my driveway, nose first, with enough room to get a motorcycle by it. My driveway is only about 10 feet wide and pulling it with a car or another truck was out of the question. I guess we could have pushed it by hand but it was only SWMBO, my brother and I so the work out was out of the question. The solution!! MIYAMI. Ya. She can pull that.

    Pull just started

    Gettin there

    In the driveway.
What the pics don't show is at the other end of the driveway is a tree stump that we encountered. I thought that I wasted the clutch but it seems to be fine now after a quick adjustment. Now. Who says that an XS is just a toy.?????

        "Hey Baby... let's get hitched"

Pulling it with the luggage rack! That takes balls.
And speaking of balls... What's that big gray thing standing in your front yard... some sort of phallic symbol? Have you no decency, Man?
At least the stakes holding my doll head collection are in my back yard, out of public view.
        Where has polite society gone?

LMAO... man, leave it to Pro to spot that stuff. I looked at the pictures and took it as a speed bump. WTF is that??
Does this go back to the "I'd rather tow a Ford than drive a Chevy" thing?

            "What a dick!"

Compose your photos carefully, gentlemen. I spot and comment on clean/cluttered garages, Pics of beautiful bikes (with oil stains on the floor underneath), lawns that need tendin'... just about any detail that there is to find. Like Parrothead's XS towing his baby's stroller, or the pic of the nice bike... parked next to a dumpster.
People sometimes forget that the world is full of jerks like me, just waiting to pounce given an unguarded moment or an innocent snapshot in time.

Judging by the style of the house and it being South Dakota... (though it looked like the only post on the block) I reckon it's a pillar with the house number on it. Or a street marker of some sort. Have seen similar in many small towns. Actually, I think it's neat.
            What is it, Czekus?

It's a street marker post for a house about two doors down. No numbers on it, just a ring attatched to the top. If it was in front of my house, I would have ripped it out of the ground and chucked it to the trash.
Getting back to the video clip. I would have never thought about using MIYAMI for this Xsept I remembered the video clip and how the GoldWing did. I wouldn't recommend towing anything but a small trailer. VERY unstable and, not done carefully, can result in dumping the bike or rippin stuff off that ya don't want ripped off.
That truck weighs in at about 6500 pounds with the stuff that's in the back and is XSteamly hard on a clutch
