  • Hello

I guess it is time to introduce myself. My friends call me fly. I have been lurking here for a couple of years. I don't post much, my grandfather told me," you don't learn anything when you are talking".
I have a 78 standard with a hitchhiker sidecar. I have put a special rear wheel and shocks on it. Plans are to install special forks and top tree to reduce trail for easier steering. Also to install
fuse box from TC. Nice unit, Thanks TC.
I have been trying to collect a motorcycle plate from each of the states. I have 43 states but still need, Delaware, Idaho, Hawaii,Maine,Maryland,Rhode Island and Wyoming. I have Ohio plates to trade for anyone that is interested. I post a card with each plate with the donors name, nickname and type of bike. I would appreciate any one that wants to contribute a plate.
    You can send plates to.

    Thanks much Fly

      My friends call me fly.
I won't tell you what people call me!
      Wise man, that Grandfather.
My Grandfather told me that the only way I learn anything is by talking. People realize how stupid I am, and then tell me the correct way to do things. That's worked pretty good for me, so far!
      Welcome to the show.

I'll go out in the garage and check tonight, but I think I still have a plate on the Norton from the early '70s. If you want something newer, when I pick up my wifes bike in a few weeks, I think it still has a plate from '92.

            Hey Steve

What kind of bike did you get for your wife? Has it warmed up enough to ride yet?

                Welcome Fly!

Good luck on the plate collection, it appears you have Tennessee so I'm no help.
