Smooth bore kit?

Would these do anything for performance? If anything it seems like it would decrease by lengthening the overall fuel/air track and lowering the intake sroke's neg pressure. Then again smaller passages yield higher airflow speeds. It just made me curious. It also made me wonder why the pic shous a VM29 style Mikuni.

Hey Jesse,

A closer look and you'll see what this is really for! These adapters are NOT for stock carbs. The First line states REMOVE Stock carbs!!! The title states it's for being able to mount Mikuni SMooth Bore carbs...which ARE shown in the diagram, and you'll note that the throat of those carbs are smaller and wouldn't fit onto the STOCK intake manifolds,.....

So this is an adapter kit to allow the fitment of these special carbs on an XS11!!
