Just starting a new project and thought I would share, cuz everyone loves pics The lights are from a mid 90's GSXR 750. The next stage will be to make my own little wind screen that goes up to the gauges. I'll post progress pics as I get'em.

That light setup looks pretty good. Is one a high and one a low beam, or how are they set up?

I think they are both high and low.

Plan to do the dual light setup for my Special project, as well. Just need to wait till someone brings in a wrecked Triumph.

What do the triumphs look like? The have a sweet looking dual light kit on ebay, but it is like $130 So I decided to try to make my own.

be real good at getting a jump start or charge the batt. Was wondering myself is our charging system up to snuff with the added headlamp?semms like we all been having minor concerns with just adding aux lighting? i do like the thought though,i was looking more into the newer style small dual lighting or projection type lighting

since the topic has turned to electrical concerns, can I just split the existing feed into two hook-ups or do I need to run some wire from somewhere else? Also, should I go look for some lower watt H4 bulbs?

Personally, I like the idea of two highs/two lows. It would eliminate the problem of having to add a set of running lights, etc. for exta lighting and/or depth perception of oncoming cars.

For the additional draw on battery... I haven't put pencil to paper to see if this would work yet, but what if all your other lamps were converted to LED's? would that then give you enough amps to run your dual light setup without serious charging problems?

That is still a pretty cool light setup for the front end no matter how it is hooked up.

I would run a "hot" wire from a fuse, and put in two relays. run the high and low beam wires to a relay, and the "hot" lead to power the lights. That wil;l keep you from melting the headlight circut or dimmer switch. pair of 55/55 Watt bulbs should be ok, just get one of Geezers reg/rectifiers to be sure.

Fog/Driving Lights...

I was looking at my floorboards and crash bars last night and got to thinking about adding a small pair of fog/driving lights to them. What do you folk's think about that. Nothing fancy, just a little set of maybe 3" ovals on the crash bars to give me that extra bit of visability.

I know it's been said that the worst vice is advice, but I want some opinions from the more seasoned guys on any pro's or con's that may come from my doing this.
