    "What... you kiddin' me?"

I retired from the army, threw my wife out of the house, and bought my first bike, an XS. I suggest you retire as planned, and toss the wife. It's the bike that really loves you and deserves your affection anyway. Well... That's my two cents. Congratulations on your retirement!

Hmmm, dump the wife, can't do that, I have 4 kids and that would eat the retirement up. I guess I will have to just dump the bike. I will post pictures later tonight.

When I was in the Navy and moving from CA to MI (on my way to Diego Garcia), an XS 400 in the Uhaul came in handy. Uhaul broke down going up the side of a mountain outside of Needles, then our Trusty AMC Spirit _ _ _ _ the bed (lost 3rd and 4th gears, split the output shaft) as I was going into Needles for help. Open Uhaul Door, extract Ramp and XS 400. Motor into Needles. Two Wreckers, a dolly for the Spirit and two fuel pump bolts for the Uhaul, we were back on the road to Michigan. SWMBO would not let me ride all the way. Interestingly enough, the UHaul motor gave out 1100 miles later in Texas. Ryder for me now!!!
