  • Route 66 run updates...

This summer I ran parts of Route 66 on the way to Los Angles and the California VRCC's Yosemite run. I wrote a series of articles for the Dallas newspaper during and after the trip.

I am starting to post versions of them now. Here's the beginning (see the link).

    Great stories

Great stories, Dan. But the again, you always have great stories. Writing is a gift.... so is RIDING!

Thanks for always giving bikers a good name and making friends in far away places.

    WOW - What a ride!

          Great reading... as usual.
And here we have snow and -7 centigrade at the moment (10.44 am) and I'm buying a cage. I never thaught I would be buying a cage for that much cash... but I got an offer I cannot let pass. And I really wanted another bike. Eh, well.... crap. Needs and wishes....

                    Hey Daniel,

Nice writing. I live in Colorado Springs and see the Peak every day (that its not shrouded in clouds). I've never ridden it though...haven't had a bike running well enough to ride it actually. Next time you are through the springs look me up.
