    The short answer to your question is yes.

    The long answer is, if you go to the Yamaha site, go to street motorcycles, go to parts manual, and enter the year and make, you can get the parts diagrams for the whole bike. Really lets see how things go together.

    You don't have to register, just hit go.

      Yeppers....just did a thread last nie on other bike discussion....think I added it to the thread about Honda's. check it out, and if ya wantin more email me at brperson@msn.com.....got all kinds of fun input pertaining to both those bikes.......Do have a preference, and it has to do with bang for the buck and lowest maint.........Anyway, shoot me an email if ya want..
