• What did you get for Xmas?

Well, Prom started this involuntarily by talking about his Joe Foreman grille! So...just wanted to find out what goodies folks got, AND what did you want that you DIDN'T get

I got a Cold Heat battery powered soldering iron!

Surprisingly a Gas powered Leaf Blower/Sucker/Mulcher Now I can make my custom On or OFF Turbo for my XS....it's rated at 450CFM!!

Also a handy little power sprayer/washer...1750 PSI, ought to help get paint and corrosion off of the Basket Case's Cases!!

A nice and needed G-shock watch with more features than I'll ever need, or figure out how to use!!

    **************************************************
What I want but haven't gotten is a metal cutting bandsaw for my aluminum log for making my S.O.F.A.'s!
    T.C.
    T. C. Gresham
    81SH "Godzilla" . . .1179cc super-rat.
    79SF "The Teacher" . . .basket case!
    History shows again and again,
How nature points out the folly of men!

A good heavy leather jacket, a flip up full face helmet, and some nice leather gloves, micrometer, (OK.. I had to actually point all the stuff out that I wanted... couldn't let her guess!!) Didn't need all this stuff until I bought this bike! lol. SWMBO says it's an incentive to get yammer-hammer parts all back together and get it out of her garage!
And of course, the old man next door... asked what he got for Christmas and got his classic reply... "A pair jeans and a piece of %$#.... and they were both too damn big!"

Wife was in a pretty bad wreck Friday (23rd) with her brother and mom. Rolled the car, but everybody made it through ok... just beat up a bit and sore. So... my best present is having my family still!

Merry Christmas all... have a safe New Years!!!

Family is the best thing to have...

This time of year, and I am greatful to still be here to share this day with them. Kat bought me a garage door opener, a new five CD changer stereo, a couple of of Yes CD's, some cologne/ aftershave, and a back massager w/ heat.

Adding to what I got earlier, I found a new compound miter saw in the garage (that I'll probably never use).
Someone tried to steal our 84 Suburban last night. Idiot broke the steering column cover on the turnsignal side. Key is on the other side.

"I got a sweater. What I really wanted was a moaner, or a screamer."

Black socks and black T shirts (my son's keep taking mine), 10 books on WWII history(Brother goes to library used book sales. Twenty five cents per book. Great deal for readers), and a shredder for all my hate mail.

Comments: Tod got one of the best gifts, one that we hope he'll cherish for many years to come. (the wife... but the micrometer comes close!) T.C.'s leaf blower is great to quickly dry off the bike after washing, John, you're married, I thought you already had a back massager?, Pat, I'm sorry to hear about the miter saw. Means your wife wants "Crown Molding" on the ceiling in the living room. Takes some time, but the effect is worth the effort. Dremels are indispensable if you've never had one before, Skippy. I got a coupla lumps of coal. I guess I couldn't hide my evildoings from Santa after all

Those Cold Heat irons are pretty nice TC, bought one for work earlier this year. Make sure the batteries are fresh though. Once they get a little weak it loses a lot of effectiveness. If you use it alot, extra tips are recommended, too. The sharp end will wear out before too long.

John: Yes! YES!!! A great band, most people I know wont listen to them for long. They're a bit out there, but fantastic musicians.
