Mechanically sound burns no oil, carbs are stock with airbox k/n filter. Will include a 1981 xs1100 h motor (not that mine needs one) in deal $1500.00 12504953445 or e-mail to Andreashweiss@yahoo.com Project is a 68 dodge dart 2dr post will be flat black with posi 4spd 426 hemi sleeper for arouind town. no digital camera but for those that have bought parts from me you can assume that this bike has all of the best costmetic parts on it and is as described. thanx for looking andreas

    Hey andreas,

I know its off topic but what all do you have left to do to your hemi project? Don't see very many of the two door darts around anymore. I've got 440's in my charger and the roadrunner. Never been able to get my hands on a hemi. Had them for 18 years. Well sorry to all the others for the off topic talk, its just hard to find other people that's interested in mopars. Good luck with the sale of your bike. Wished I lived closer and had the spare money to help out.

2dr dart was a 6 cylinder auto trans, drove it home. had one paint job from factory blue to white. Body is good condition floor and trunk excellent. Removed 6 banger front end put a v8 front end on from a wrecked 69 2dr ,motor trans and rear end removed. Will be installing proper trans and rear end to take the big block power. Engine is a short block core only of similiar vintage.plan for engine is 400-450 for hp the car will be so light anyway no sense going overboard.Interior will be roll bar behind post,no back seat, fuel cell and dry cell battery in trunk,2 bucket front out of new car.Not looking to make a pretty car just a fun little hot rod for short trips around town.

          Heres my power plant.

          [IMG][/IMG]

Its a 67 440. 30 over. 12:1/2. 1 compression half dome forged pistons. Steel crank, six-pack rods with arp bolts, double roller timing chain, mopar purple cam 484 lift with 284 duration and 108 center line. Open champer Heads with ported and polished by me fitted with stainless steel intake and exhaust valves with double valve springs with titanium retainers and 10 degree locks. High volume oil pump. Built in wendage try oil pan. And in this picture a offenhauser 360 dual plane intake but since been replaced with a Holly street dominator intake for more horse power and not in the pic is a 73 thermoquad modified to make 1060 cfm's. Also 1 7/8 headers into 3 inch exhaust. The inside of the engine had been painted to keep the oil from soaking into the block to help block twisting. The block was decked .003 then line bored then line honed. Have this bolted a 727 tranny that came out of 71 hemi car that I built myself as I was tired of transmission shops not doing their work right. But taking abuse for over 10 years now. Just hope is holds up to the new motor. Its been in the car for 2 years now. Didn't mean to babble so much.

            Sorry, forgot to mention.

It also had balanced and blue printed.

I'd forget my head if it were not attached.

If i were closer i would really be interested in the bike, especially with the extra motor. I would like to find some more 1100s around here to pick up like my 82 and 79. Who said nobody likes MOPARS? I have 72 DODGE DART DEMON v8, auto on floor, big twin snorkle hood scoop, 8.75 posi rear end. In the works to rebuild the complete car.
