looking for swirl rims, can any one help

does anyone have a pair of swirl rims from a 81 xs1100LH
midnight special..

Iam restoring a 80LG & want to make it a bit different from
my other 2 bikes,,, 79SF & a New 80LG

Midnight Special

Hi, Sorry, I cant help with the swirl rims. But you guys seem to have all the parts you need over there, sure you will find what you want on the ol e-bay!

I have an 81 Midnight Special imported from the US in 1997, I seem to get most of the stuff I need from the US because this model was never sold over hear!

I have a problem with it Backfireing, tried all of the usual things,
could you please suggest the best guy to contact on this site.

Steve;
Start a new thread with your backfire problem. Try to give us as much information as you can, such as miles, time since last carb clean/overhaul, spark plug type and age, exhaust system, airbox type, and when it backfires.
This will help us try to figure out the problem. The more you can give us up front, the faster the problem can be solved.

You can use the wheels from an XJ11 Maxim, and paint them gold. They have the same swirl pattern as an 81 MNS. I have a set of XJ wheels on my 80 SG.
