Looks cool to me, but it won't sell in the motorcycle market. We're FAR too conservative about tires to try something new...I get hate mail about my tire choices LOL!

            Dragonrider,

I love it! more mileage on tires is better anyway you slice it.

If one would fit my xj1100 I'd put it on.

That's a Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread...205/60/16, on a Honda Valkyrie. It's known as going to the "Darkside"

I doubt it...it's a car tire...I just had to find something that would fit....

The XS is kind of tight on clearances....perhaps one could be found to fit it, but I haven't tried...

Yep. Drag my pegs off all the time. Just did Yosemite, and have had it on the Dragon (US 129) also (and everything in between).

The tire flexes...keeping the tread in contact with the road. I am never on the sidewall, and have half the contact patch on the ground even leaned over till the sparks are flying. I can absolutely hammer the throttle halfway through the corners and not feel so much as a squiggle. It just hooks up and flies.

If you look closely at the pics of the old tire I removed this summer (had more life, but replaced sooner than needed as I was headed out for a series of long trips), you will see that it wears more in the center than the edges...this is not from all highway miles or overinflation...this is because the center is always in contact with the ground, even when cornering, and thus gets more wear. (same wear you'd see on a MC tire if you run it slightly underinflated, except no cupping).

This tire has over 23,000 miles on it.
