The variety of levels that rate as "too cold" on this list are amazing. The Canucks seem to draw the line at about zero (afraid to instantly bond skin to metal), the midwesterners at about 20 (afraid to snap off brittle plastic), and the Californians at 40 (afraid to get their sunglasses fogged up)...

What I was talking about " to cold" was when the temperature is in the 20s or low 30s and the wind blowing 15 mph. with gusts up to 20 or 30. It has sense warmed up into the 40s and as long as the wind is not blowing then I`am willing to try the stuff but I have seen that when things get real cold they get brittle. I do my work outside so that plays a part. Supposed to be clear and calm tomorrow so it would be a good time. Sorry for the weather report . Want a cold job, try replacing the cooling system on a car when its 5 the wind blowing 15-20 mph. with 4" of snow on the ground on the outside. Thanks again and be safe.

        Sorry wildbill,

didn't mean to "sound" so whatever about the CCCOLD.

Where I live and work we think it's fregging cold when we have to put on a coat instead of a light jacket. (Anywhere in the 40's is considered cold)

Just being a SOB rubbing it in to you guys "BACK" east.
        (see XS650mike, back east/out whatever)

I agree. It is all what you are used to. No problem A good example of that was earlier in November along the gulf coast, everybody was wearing coats because the temps. were in the 60s and I was out wearing shorts. So it is all relative, by the way has any of you tried the stuff I was talking about in the original post? Inquiring minds want to know? Take care.

Is that beholder or beerholder??? I'm thinking it could go either way.

I applied it with out taking anything off so that was a big deal over nothing . One of the good things now is you don`t need a cooler if you`re out side
