I decided to drive down to Indiana and purchase a street legal sand rail. 1600 engine. It needs ball joints, and the carb replaced or rebuilt (Old Holley 5200 2-barrel progressive carb). There is a Michigan Dune Buggy swap meet on the 16th that I'll go to to see if I can find some parts. I'm also selling one of my XS750's, as I don't ride it, so maybe some of that money goes towards the buggy.

This is one I built in the late Nineties and sold 5 or 6 years ago, was a 1600 dual port also. Not street legal but fun. Ran out of places to ride and the nearest was 45 miles one way so it just became too inconvenient.
