    Good day all! I'm Matt, from western Canada. I just bought a '78 XS1100 that I'm gonna get going over this winter. Thought I'd drop a line and say hi. šŸ™‚

    The bike was tinkered with by the last owner. Lots of new/rebuilt parts but it's a good foundation for a cafe-inspired build. Looking forward to going trough the forum and posting pics when it's good to go!

      Welcome! I hope you can ride the bike as is before you do too many changes on it. They are fun and are not quick, but fast. The most fun is the pulling power in a high gear at low RPM. Please do try it first!
      As for the mods, please take pics and post them!! We all like to see things done well and love pics. Check some of the members here, as some have been able to do amazing work on these machines.

            Lots of guys in western Canada with loads of experience and knowledge too. I am in Alberta and have met many XS11 owners. Welcome!
