Just curious if anybody else has noticed spam emails, that show-up with the names of members of this group? So far, I have gotten emails from Mike Pittman and Kurt. Be aware . . .

Nope. In my email box, like they're from Kurt. Just got another one this morning from Kurt.

Change your site password, it could be your account that has been compromised and not the entire site.

Are you active on Facebook? Could it be another possible source of the spam?

Very active, but not sure that Mike and Kurt are, other than the XS-SE rally they post about.

                Hi Guys....

Personally, I'd been getting them from Mike P for over a year. I was recently informed by a friend (who is a regular here) that he was getting them from me. Although Mike and I are good friends and also share about the Vintage Yamaha Rally a common denominator would be the XS11.com or XS11.club website(s) and our Vintage Yamaha Rally e-mail chains.

Since other people here are getting SPOOF emails from us are not on our Vintage Yamaha Rally e-mail attendee lists or mailing lists for that event (they've never attended), then the ONLY common denominator is the .com or .club web-site.

I certainly an NOT up-to-date on how the heck these "$hit Head$ gain access or make this horse crap work. Neither Mike or I would pull such stunts on our friends. I will however apologize for the inconvenience.

I've not had any problems with this site. Faceplant, on the other hand, has been nothing but trouble for years! They have problems that they have not fixed, and I've NOT been on for a few years because of that.
Just to put things into perspective, I work in the A&D division of a high tech company and use VERY secure passwords. I was hacked twice in two weeks on Faceplant, so I've never been back.

Yes-the site is used by me to connect with Army friends, various places I visited and friends I have met along the way but they have big time security issues.
