i dont think there is and that is a good idea for the rally and if there is just use a different font and it will be ok i mean i am going to have some vinal decals made for my side panels instead of putting the emblems bake on

.. i would think that Yamaha would like the advertisment
they dont use that model designation any more
.. unlike harley who would like to patent the words that come out of your mouth ..

I do think JP (forum creator) has rights to the "XS-XJ Owners Association" and "XS11.com" names/logos.
I'm sure a moderator will chime in here.

            Hey Chevy,

Gary Granger was incharge of the large jacket patches, and has been mentioned, I believe the Owner's Association patch design is his, but the regular XS11 or XJ11 are fair game, and since you're really only making them for the RALLY, not to be sold nationally for profit, you shouldn't have any problem using any variation or combination of the latter, just not the OA patch design!

Are you any good with computer graphics design? Should be able to come up with a good one with the Racetrack THEME!

Did you see the ones Bruce had for the NY rally, "Got XS?"

I can think up some ideas for slogans, and I'm sure others can contribute as well.

Smoking's bad for you!....with a stylized graphic of an XS11 doing a rear tire burnout!!

            or...Xsive "stripjoint"

                patent or reg trade mark

Just wanted to chime in, I don't think Yamaha could care less if you use that logo, they haven't used it in over 20 years. I had a set of vinal Yamaha tuning forks logos from the late 70's cut for my fairing and when the guy was laying it out on the computer he killed the registered symbol without me asking. By the way who would notice besides one of us.
                IMHO
