Just closed on the second bike … seems a solid deal and going to pick it up hopefully on the 17th.
Although I was looking for a project, at least I’ll have a Master Bike to follow the project bike.
    Thoughts?

Wow, that's a museum piece. Are these pictures your project or the 'master'? I imagine it must be the new "master bike'.

Ironic that it has an LED headlight yet still has original tires.

Excellent find, especially with the original black chrome exhaust and it looks like the mufflers still shine. The gold chrome also appears to be excellent. The black chrome handlebars look great as does the clear gauges that still have the bright red lines. 7300 miles, obviously garage kept and cared for. Simply beautiful! congrats!

Does it run? Has it been on the road recently? It looks good, no doubt and my best guess is with the milage being that low there's going to be a whole heap of rubber bits besides the tires that aren't going to flex like they used to. Brake lines, seals, o-rings etc are going to be old and brittle so it would be a good idea to get a manual on go through EVERY maintenance item on the list to check things over. Keep us posted and ask questions!

As far as I know, it runs like new, but as stated the rubber items will probably need replacing. I can’t believe I found it and could make a fair deal (wasn’t cheap). I’m a bit anxious going “old school” as there have been some pretty effective tech in the last 40+ Yrs like anti-lock, electronic cruise, etc; looking forward to getting back to my roots though.

The project bike on the line looks to be a possible scam. Still progressing but I’ve been ghosted when requesting additional pics.. it’s was an interesting bike, just s little too good of a deal if you know what I mean …

still hoping to get it the weekend of the 17th …
