    I'm with you there Strom...

My '78 T3 Cali is rather fun... NOTHING like an XS11 for outright performance... but that's not the point for one of those.

Mike - anytime yer in the Surrey area your welcome for a spin..... as long as I get to try out your XS at the same time!

      UK XSessives

Next time that I'm up Surrey I'll pop in but it won't be on the bike - too busy modding it.
Have got new front end XJR 1300 and am in the stage of changing the rear end with a Diversion. Just waiting for my mate to get his days free.

          Mikes Mods

          Mike........... what can I say.

An XS11 with the mods you are planning / halfway through sounds terrific. I've long been a fan of the Dutch XS1100 site which used to (maybe still does) have pics of Diversion wheeled specials. Of course... the XJR is a natural front end for the old XS too - look forward to some pics or seeing it in the flesh.

Still toying with selling my old beastie on... so shouldn't get too enthused. Have the baby on the way...garage full of projects AND house move to contend with at the moment... Life isn't dull!

Of course you are welcome to pop in if you are ever around the bottom end of the M25..... I often get to a Devises bike rally in early October (Gurt Bustard) so could be down your way around then.... usually for too much 6X.

Strom... sorry to hi-jack your thread..... I do note that you welcome visitors with a beer tho'..... hmmmm maybe a long UK ride out should be planned

No prob UK... beer is waiting

I'm still waiting for petcock rebuilt kit (got only one from imot) and carb rebuild kits (also got only one).
I didn't find a good paint for the inside of my tank... yet.
Then I'm planning a carb tune up job, some new rubber and regi$tration...
Hopefully I'll get the oldtimer (haha) certificate... and save me 400-450$...
Got new spark plug caps tho, new fusebox was ordered, as well as new tank emblems.
Can't wait to go for a ride....

              LOL.. Great...

Someone felt the need to vote on a 5 year old thread and revive it!.. (Originally a 7 year old thread).

Hmm... Methinks sometimes the search option is NOT a good idea! lol.
