    hello i am still looking for a set of shut off valves , a lower profile seat , and dealer brochures , and parts manuals , for my 1979 xs1100 f and xs1100 special , if any members could help me to find these parts , that would be great , here are some pics of my bikes

      Both bikes look like SF models to me. If I remember correctly, the 650/750/850 Special has the same shut-off valves. The seat can be modified by a good shop that does boats, etc.
      Partzilla had the parts manual online for orders, and ebay is your best bet for any dealer flyers, etc. you may want.

        do a search on Ebay there are two listings out there right now for both the f and sf. Two separate listings.
        2 - 80 LGs bought one new

          The 1979 XS1100SF no longer exists in parts books. Yamaha has discontinued it. Therefore, places like Partzilla don't show parts for the XS1100SF.

          The XS1100SF fuel shutoff valves or petcocks and octopus are the same as those on the XS1100SG and XS1100SH. The XS1100F was equipped with vacuum petcocks that do not interchange with those on the SF. The bolt spacing is not the same between the two.

          Someplace, I saved the XS1100SF parts manual. So, I can help with that if you reach out by PM.
