Kathy Hochul (D) (NY Gov) signed a loud exhaust law in NY yesterday. Supposedly to affect drag racing cars, but... $1000 fine, highest in the nation. 2-3 times higher than a DUI!!! Makes ANY motorcycle exhaust with straight pipes illegal. No decibel limit for the exhaust, simply no baffles=illegal. Anything designed with removable baffles... illegal. I avoid politics on this forum, but this is all about NYC Democrats passing an outrageous law with outrageous fines. I predict enforcement will be EXCEEDINGLY selective.
