What would you suggest to use to create an avatar of appropriate size? I haven't figured out how to use the photo editor that came with my camera (Sony) to change the size of the photo.

Try using Microsoft Paint to resize it, then save it in your computer, then you can upload it to the host. It has to be very small, something like 60x40 pixels. -

I fingered it out alright, but since I don't have paint, I figured out how to use my screenshot tool (Snagit) to capture the image, re-size it and save as a jpeg. Interesting diversion from work LOLPapa Gino
