...I think I may have a 4-into-one up in my loft in the shop. Things don't rust out here in the valley (no salt in the air or on the roads in the winter...)
Give me a call if you're interested:

      Hey Chevy,

My "other" basket case machine that I will eventually be working on, putting back into a frame, doing the chain drive conversion, etc.! Well, the P.O. just cut the pipes off at the head, and then later removed and tossed them all away!! So...I will be needing a spare set as well. Your mention of corrosion and rusting thru, and other's comments about getting someone to make some Stainless Steel pipes got me to thinking! Watch out, that's dangerous!!!

One web site I found that makes SS exhaust systems for cars, says they don't recommend thicker than 16ga. due to weight and just not necessary. 16 ga. tubing is 0.065". What I've found is about $9.00/foot for 304SS in 7foot lengths. I've sorta calculated it would take FOUR 3' sections for the headers, then trying to decide about 4-2 or 4-1 style!? I've found a hydraulic pipe/tube bender I can get for about $90.00. I've got a welder!

Just wondering about where to get the muffler section, haven't researched whether I can find SS types!? Sounds like another fun project.....but looks like I need to retire to have enough time for all of these projects....darn work gets in the way!!!!

I wonder if you can heat and bend stainless tubing like you would carbon steel. Also about all I know about stainless is that it requires more skill to weld it.

For the resto-project I'm planning to do a 4 into 2 into 1, so that it will fork around the oil cooler fittings and leave room to change the oil filter.

I will be using the spin-on adaper on the Mongrel.

Didnt someone make SS exhaust replacements for the 11?
          Stock look.
          Not cheap.

PS: Dunno bout SS, but if you want to bend thin walled pipes, you need something that costs more than 90$. As for the muffler, cut two trapezoid sheets of whatever you want to make them of, roll them, and weld. This is what you get:
