  • To all those that IMed me for parts

Yes, I will be selling parts off the trike project - fairing, hardbags, tank and side covers.

It will be in a month or less before I get to it, and I need to find fair prices for them.

I do this with all my project bikes. I offer members on a specific model bike (for instance, I just sold a fairing and other parts off a V65 Sabre project on the V4 Sabre-Magna site) so they can get first crack at them, then I e-bay them. I sell them on whatever site it is classified section per forum rules.

I only look for a market value on the site that members can say "well, it wasn't a steal, but it still was a damn good deal, better than I could have got on e-bay or wrecking yard"- because of shipping from Alaska!

The most expensive stuff to ship is typically the fairings- becaues of the box size. I was able to break down the hondaline fairing far enough that it cost close to 40 bucks in shipping to the east coast from Alaska and about a little less than 20 on the box and packaging- you can't be too careful with all that plastic.

I make nothing on shipping, sending reciepts with, and if for some reason, I charge you more than it costs for shipping and handling, I refund the difference.

So keep your ears open, I know you guys need some of these parts!

    CruisingRam,
I PMed you about your fairing - I can find them locally but not with lowers...
My Pacifico fairing was crushed in an accident last May so my SS-28 shorty fairing was fine for summer riding.
I'd ride up to 1,000 miles to get another, but Alaska is a bit too far...
I ride 365 days a year, and in the winter the rain and cool air (~34°) is uncomfortable for an old fart like me...

Please put my name on your parts-to-sale list, and if you decide to sell the fairing to me I'll either PayPal you, or send the funds Priority main immediately.

    XSiver regards,
