More riding......

I bought my XS11 in April and after a couple of months or so of tinkering it is issue free. I found this site to be most valuable in expertise and parts hunting, but now all I want do is ride. I ride most everyday and always go on 200 to 400 mi trips on weekends. There are several really nice rides around here and I never seem to get tired of mountain roads, canyon runs, beach runs etc.
I usually do this all by myself as I haven't found any applicable clubs around here that are active and I notice most of the riders I see are also by themselves. Sometimes I see a group, but it is almost always those hardly makin-it thunder boomers and they don't like us rice burner riders. All they ever get to see is licence plates and tail lights anyway. LOL
I wonder if there are others here who like to ride as much as me and if there any in the So Cal (Orange County) area?

I'll ride with you. I've joined the VJMC, but there's a possibility that it's going to fall apart due to some IRS problems. There's a new organization (VJEMC) that's starting up that I'm considering joining. The VJMC is not too organized in So. Cal. I went to one meeting (breakfast), only one other guy came on a bike. They did tentaively plan a ride, but it was on a date I was unable to make. I mostly go on poker runs sponsored by SCMA (which I haven't yet joined). In fact, there was one today, but I awoke too late to make the sign in.

Anyway, if my bike is running, and SWMBO has no other plans for me, I'd be happy to ride with you. You can reply here, or e-mail me direct: REFFI@aol.com.
