On the road...
Release, relief, renewal. Vague demands from my soul. Grumblings from the Dark Side of the Man.
Restlessness. Dreams. A burning hunger for experience. The need to see!
The need to fly.
It’s time to ride.
I’m headed out for 22 days on the road, leaving Saturday morning (9/3). I’m headed for Yosemite...of course I’m doing it via Wisconsin.
Texas to California…via Wisconsin. Yeah, well, I never could color inside the lines either.
Assuming the gas and the credit cards hold out, other plans include parts of Route 66, some time in the mountains of New Mexico and southern Colorado, and a visit to friends in Los Angles. I expect to be at Yosemite for the Valkyrie Riders’ event Friday September 16th and Saturday, September 17th.
After that, who knows? I’ll have a week to find my way home. I guess it depends on the whims of my soul...and how well my credit cards have held out.
