To get them on spray HAIR SPAY on the bars and inside the grips, they will slide right on then let them dry . Then they wont slip, u will have to cut them off but that is standard procedure anyway HTH............MITCH

I just bought a Throttle Rocker this weekend......well worth the $10. Not sure how well they would work on foam grips though.

Hair spray worked well for me and I avoided cutting grips off by blowing compressed air through the end which just pushed em right off.
Regarding the wrist rests, I was thinking about them at one point but figured why not just take your fingers off the grip and just kind of palm it when a short rest is needed.
I've been eyeing those throttle lock devices to be able to get my hand off completely once in a while.

I had one on my XJ750RH which for some reason had a really strong return spring on the throttle making it a real necessity on road trips. Worked great. It does override easily when properly adjusted so it's not a safety problem and the "locking" lever is positioned such that the thumb will hit it and disengage it entirely as you shut the throttle.
