    It's now up for sale. 1982 xj1100 yamaha. runs but needs electrical help. spare frame with motor and mic. parts go with the deal. No reasonable offer refused.


    it has the stock exhaust on now. two sets of rusted out kerkers go to .Bike located in northern Illinois.

    Looks sweet, should sell easy. Is that backrest-pad a genuine option or did you have it custom-made?

      back rest is from eXScuse me for i have sinned a suzuki850. also on the sale can deliver up to lets say 300miles for a small fee.

          Air shocks and adjustable air forks were stock on the XJ. Each end is filled from a common point, left shock for the rear, left fork for the front.

          Chevy...I take it the replecement battery didn't cure your problem? I wish my XJ looked as good!

          As for using other brand accessories...if you ever take a close look at the sissy bar on my XJ, and specifically the zipper pocket on the back of the pad, you will notice "Honda"...
          Since the sissy bar is mounted to a modified Honda rack, it makes sense in a Zen kind of way.

              your to kind Jerry,it needs a good going over but it's all there.And no batt not the prob. starting to have charging issues. I'm going to replace brushes like you said in the other thread.And if i get it fixed i'll stop whinng and keep it. but i really want a newer bike. just have to sell one to get one.
