    81 RH Midnight Specail Mirror???

    Guys,
    Will a left hand mirror fit on the right side or do any of you folks have a Midnight Special Right Hand mirror you want to sell? The stock mirrors work better than replacement ones. I picked up a Left hand one on ebay and am now looking for a right one.

    Sorry Don,

    The threading is reversed for the right hand side. I've seen adapters, but that just adds more chrome to it!? Happy Hunting.

      Saw replacement "Special" type mirrors in the Dennis Kirk catalog, available right or left in chrome or black. Main difference from stock mirrors is that the stem is thinner, 10mm I believe but they look and function like stock otherwise. I have a couple in chrome on my XS400SJ, steady, no blurring.
