I have the subject bike ready to go to a good home or a bad one same price. This is a 9300 mile all original bike. With fairing and backrest. When I purchased the bike I received a bill that the owner had $1500 worth of work done to the bike(at the dealer)
New tires, brakes, battery, tuneup, carb clean and tank lined. The paint is original Ruby Red and is probably a 9.5 or better. The tank has no dings, dents or scratch's. The emblems are all near perfect. The fairing has a few minor scratches. Nothing to be ashamed of though. The seat is the worse part it has two very tiny separtions at a seam otherwise it is unweathered and no sign of wear. It has K and L fliters installed. The bike comes with the original head light besides the one in the fairing. It also comes with the complete original airfilter and every hose connection, screw or attachment.
The bike has no know problems other than not being ridden enough. I have three. The 78 will go on the block next week. I am fast losing my balance and strength so before I drop one of these pretty babies and hurt myself and my child I will let them go. I am keeping my 81 which has a sidecar hung on it. So if anyone is interested write me btdtdantx@hotmail.com or PM me. John has seen and ridden this fine machine so you can ask my guru is opinion.
I paid $1800 for the 80 and think it is worth every penny.
Ride on,
Dan
