  • How's the ride on my xj650 shocks, ...

A while back I asked if I could use some xj650 airshocks on my xs11. The results accross the board were unanimously no. Well I got to reading in some other forums where some xsers stated their body weights and how well thier shocks did under passenger loads that totalled out at like 300 and up pounds. That got me to thinking (not in a mean way or anything), SWMBO and I combined don't totall 300lbs. So being stubborn and in posession of the beautiful shocks I practically stole off ebay, I decided to give them a try. The results, a very nice ride. I am sure I am more of an exception than a rule, but they work good for my and I didn't remove my helmet lock to run the air hose.
I am still, however, very thankful for the advise of everyone who has helped me on my project.

    Hey Jessie,

Whatever works for you is OKAY. That's what you get for being such a lightweight! Now get with the program and give your ride a NAME!
ie. "Shocking ....whatever color it is",

    OR, the "Bouncer",

Or, "A Soft Piece of Tail"
    T.C.
    T. C. Gresham
    81SH "Godzilla" . . .1179cc super-rat.
    79SF "The Teacher" . . .basket case!
    History shows again and again,
How nature points out the folly of men!

Tell me about it, I have been trying to come up with one for quite some time. The more I ride it, the sooner I should be able to come up with something. I just love it so much; I wnat the perfect name...
