    Hello Guys (and gals)

    Hello.

I'd just like to introduce myself.
My name is Pete, I'm from the UK, and I've joined your site because I've just bought a rather poorly-looking 1100 Maxim, and might just need some help with locating parts and restoring my bike to good working order. I intend to use it as my daily driver to and fro work.

          Hehe no I don't have a turbo 11, I have a turbo Hayabusa.

I've been working on my Maxim this afternoon, and I am compiling a list of stuff I need to find for it. It's previous owner had a pair of dogs that must not have liked it too much, as they have eaten away part of the seat, both nearside indicators, some of the loom, No1 and No4 coil lead and spark plug caps and the front brake hose.

          I'll post some pics soon.

you will find that ebay is your freind. there are a bunch of parts up for auction every day. just find your way to ebay motors then motorcycle parts then type in the letters xs
this will give you the broadest search that i know of

Hey Pete, when you get stuck for parts, remember there's a 'Wanted' section in the UK XS1100 owners website XS11 UK Register
