  • 1st BikeBandit disappointment...

'wanted to get my bike back up and running after an accident 6 weeks ago, and the only thing keeping me from riding was finding some handlebars...
'ordered one from BikeBandit last week and paid the "express" price of $20, instead of $4 for shipment - it's gonna take till the end of THIS week to get here... the $4 shipping price would've gotten here THREE DAYS SOONER.
I went on eBay and got some used handlebars within 48 hours - and now I've been riding FIVE days and the BikeBandit handlebars are STILL *NOT* here!!!

WARNING: do ***NOT*** order *ANYTHING* "express" from BikeBandit - IMHO it's a joke.

I've ordered parts from BikeBandit a few times. I never used express shipping. Shipping times have varied from a week to 2 days.
The clutch linkage broke on my MN Special and I robbed one from the $60 gem. Ordered one from BikeB and it was here 2 days later.
On a side note, I'm glad the linkage broke when I was replacing the cable. The pivot was frozen and it weakened the link. I'd hate to be 'away' from home and have it break.

Having heard so many good things about this BB-thing I was looking for some parts (exhaust nuts) and actually found them. It was easy to find them and they seemed to be available also.

The trouble started when I actually started to order those. All was good until I got to checkout.
For a $33 purchase I would have to pay $65 for shipping...
I have yet to see such a price in any of the shops. They really must not like shipping international orders.

For me the BikeBandit is totally useless.

I've run into the the same problem of having to wait for parts from BB. I don't think they stock a lot of the parts they sell, especially the OEM stuff. They will express ship it to you once they have received it from their vendor.
All in all, I still like to use them for hard to find parts. Cheaper than the dealer in most cases.
